I have been using Photoshop for years and just recently began using CorelDraw. I downloaded some tutorials, but they all only explained the features and outlined the basics like the toolbars, text to path, creating shapes and formating text. This site provides tutorials that teach you skills you can actually apply on a daily basis when creating top quality graphics. You are truly a BLESSING to anyone wanting to learn how to use CorelDraw.

I know some of the viewers think the instructor is "excellent", and he may be, but when you move fast and not really explain things slower so people get it, you are not a good instructor.

Instructor.....you must remember that some people grasp things fast, and others slower, its how people are made up. I know we can replay it, but if you are forgetting to explain something, replaying wont help. So, try to explain EXACTLY what you are doing without going so fast that people have to scratch their heads.

So, even though you get compliments, you also have to accept criticism. Not all people will pat you on the back all the time...its not possible.

I have x4 and I'm following along exactly to what you are saying but it's not working. At 3:51 it goes to interactive fill and when you choose colors from the right sidebar you are able to set them on the line. Mine is not letting me, instead a box (uniform fill)appears that says "changing fill properties when nothing is selected will modify the attributes used by tools when creating new objects" Below that it says "Click on the boxes below to choose which tools will receive new default setting"

It gives me 3 options to check, Graphic. Artistic Text, and Paragraph Text. No matter what I click nothing changes and I can't drag colors without this popping up. Any ideas why you can do it but mine wont? I'm a little confused.
